Northview Middle School is committed to the practice of sportsmanship in the conduct of all athletic competition. Good sportsmanship is positive behavior, which stems from generosity and a genuine concern for others. Good sportsmanship is graciously accepting victory or defeat and also the calls of game officials. For spectators at athletic events, good sportsmanship includes cheering for athletes, not booing or saying things to put down athletes, coaches, or officials. Good sportsmanship is a team sffort. The cooperation of athletes, coaches, officials, students, parents and other spectators is needed. Please come and support our student athletes, but please also be a good sport.
