Extracurricular activities are offered in many areas in response to student interest.

Artistically Talented – Mrs. Fort and the art teachers of Washington Township have designed a township-wide program for artistically talented students. The program for the 2016-17 school year will be an art experience from September through March including field trips, an artists’ studio workshop and studio sessions with the art teachers. The middle school and high school program consists of one session running September through March with 14-24 students, depending upon the school. Student artwork will be exhibited during the culminating activity at the North Central High School Student Center, 1801 East 86th Street, 46240. Applications must be completed by students and parents. Application forms are available from the art teacher. Students will be selected for the program on the basis of application and artwork evaluation, including a try-out assignment. Participants will be assessed a fee of $45.oo to help cover the cost of art supplies, artists’ presentations and tours.
