General Information

Northview Middle School is a 6th-8th grade middle School on the north side of Indianapolis, one of three middle schools in Washington Township Schools. Our building is currently located next to North Central High School, but a brand-new facility is in the finishing stages of completion, near 91st and College-about five minutes from our current location. We serve over 800 students with a diversity of over 25 native languages spoken by our students and their families. At Northview, we believe that “Today, like every day, is a GREAT day to be a FALCON!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Northview’s enrollment policy?
As a traditional public school district, Northview has an open enrollment policy and proudly provides a high-quality education for all students. We welcome students at any time; however, we encourage families to take advantage of natural transition times to make it easier for the student. Registration information can be found on our district website.
What are your standard school day hours?
Our middle school hours are Monday-Friday, 9:20 am-4:20 pm. For families with students in different academic levels, our high school hours are 8:30 am-3:30 pm and our elementary school hours are 7:50 am-2:35 pm.
What is the average number of students in each classroom?
Most classes are in the low to mid-twenties, but can vary depending on the course being provided. For example, band, art, or PE are on the bigger end of our class sizes due to room space and activity level of the classes.
What are Northview’s school safety policies?
Keeping students safe is paramount at all Washington Township Schools. External doors remain locked, and school resource officers are assigned to each building. Staff and visitors carry a district-issued ID while in our school.
